I love with them, still. Holding them high on a petals. The ghosts of what could have been laugh at me, as I visite the what ifs. Deep down I know, I should move on Just leave them to history as I build a brighter future, Yet, I cling to my mistakes as if they are my obsessions. Hiding my heart behind my emotional walls, as I refuse to heal before moving on. Promising to not let the next one within my embrace hurt me like they still do. I try again. Ever so often they reach out to me tearing my confidence to shades; the demons of my failed loves haunting my thoughts as I question what I am doing wrong. Why do I keep repeating my failures? I

A two second jingle sounds, Words from a friend, Another echoing after the first, Words of admiration Ting ting ting, one after another. Each  one ringing of a pending relationship. Nervous in a tailspin, fire racing across  my neck and shoulders. Heading for a mental shutdown. I am overwhelmed by the sound, a song plays a voice in the other side sweet as suger, white noise cutting out the connection. Is this real or are the words running  a mock with our emotions. Slow down breath, red flags fly worring as he said his just being honest. I have heard those words before. He paints a lovely  image of us together, to good to be real this

We only exchanged a few messages, before I let you video call me. You don't want what I am seeking, yet there is something about you that sets me at easy as it calls to me. Your soulful honstly echoing in you eyes, the smile tugging on your oh so kissable lips. Yet that is not  the only thing. Something about you call to me. Something deeper than the eyes can see.
